ProLine 525 S is a complete backup and restore solution for networks ofUNIX workstations, consisting of a 525-MB tape drive subsystem andProServe S software.ProServe S is an OPEN LOOK application that makes backup easy withcomplete backup scheduling of multiple clients. Data recovery is aided byan online database of backed-up files and tapes. ProServe S is also up to300 percent faster than system utilities and supports simultaneous clientbackup for optimum performance.Configured to work with five backup clients on a single tape server,ProLine 525 S can be enhanced to support 25 users with ProServe Ssoftware upgrades. ProLine 525 S reads Sun quarter-inch softwaredistribution tapes and can be used with standard SunOS tape utilities.
